Kimanéz Luminescent Toadstool

Level 39 gpConsumableBulk LRareRemaster

This large blue toadstool glimmers with soft, magical light similar to moonlight. The spots of white adorning the mushroom's cap glow ethereally, as if illuminated from the inside, shedding dim light in a 10-foot radius.

Activate—Ward Area 10 minutes (concentrate, light, manipulate)

Effect You plant the toadstool in the ground, allowing it to connect to all living fungi and plant matter within 120 feet of its planting. For 8 hours, any corporeal creature that touches the affected matter even accidentally begins to glow with bright magical light in a 10-foot emanation, which persists as long as they remain within 120 feet of the planted mushroom. A creature can move through an area containing affected fungi and plant matter without touching it by treating the area as difficult terrain and succeeding at a DC 18 acrobatics check.

Traits

Consumable

An item with this trait can be used only once. Unless stated otherwise, it's destroyed after activation. Consumable items include alchemical items and magical consumables such as scrolls and talismans. When a character creates consumable items, they can make them in batches of four.

Fungus

Fungal creatures have the fungus trait. They are distinct from normal fungi.

Creatures and objects in dim light have the Concealed condition, unless the seeker has darkvision or low-light vision, or a precise sense other than vision."},{"c0":"Darkness","c1":"A creature or object within darkness is Hidden or undetected unless the seeker has darkvision or a precise sense other than vision. A creature without darkvision or another means of perceiving in darkness has the Blinded condition while in darkness, though it might be able to see illuminated areas beyond the darkness. If a creature can see into an illuminated area, it can observe creatures within that illuminated area normally. After being in darkness, sudden exposure to bright light might make you Dazzled for a short time, as determined by the GM."}]}

Magical

Something with the magical trait is imbued with magical energies not tied to a specific tradition of magic. Some items or effects are closely tied to a particular tradition of magic. In these cases, the item has the arcane, divine, occult, or primal trait instead of the magical trait. Any of these traits indicate that the item is magical.
