Abilities

Branch Ambushoffensive

Trigger A creature that breathes steps within 5 feet of a thicket --- Effect The thicket makes a sinewy leaves Strike against the triggering creature. The hazard then rolls initiative.

Branch Grabdefensive

Each creature grabbed by the breathless thicket takes 4d6 nonlethal bludgeoning damage and must attempt a DC 26 fortitude save. --- Critical Success The creature takes no damage and can immediately attempt to Escape as a free action. Success The creature takes half damage and is Stupefied 1 for 1 round. Failure The creature takes full damage, is stupefied 1 for 1 round, and is Stunned 1. For as long as it's grabbed by the thicket, the creature must hold its breath or suffocate. Critical Failure As failure, but the creature also falls Unconscious and starts suffocating. If it's no longer grabbed, the creature stops suffocating.
