Washboard Dog Tough

Trigger The monster has its shield raised and takes damage from a physical attack. Effect The monster snaps its shield into place to deflect a blow. The shield prevents the monster from taking an amount of damage up to the shield's Hardness. The monster and the shield each take any remaining damage, possibly breaking or destroying the shield.

Whenever the gang tough makes a successful melee Strike against a Frightened creature, the Strike deals an extra weapon die of damage.

When the gang tough's Strike with a bludgeoning weapon is a critical hit and deals damage, the target becomes Frightened 1.

The Washboard Dog scrapes their weapon up and down their washboard shield, making such a clatter that it's hard to hear anything over the din. Until the beginning of the Washboard Dog tough's next turn, all creatures within 30 feet gain a +1 circumstance bonus to any saves to resist auditory spells or abilities. Effect: Scraping Clamor
