Coins & Currency
Rulebook
There are four common types of coins, each standardized in weight and value.
Copper Piece (cp): Worth 1/10 of a silver piece.
Silver Piece (sp): The standard unit of currency. Accepted by any merchant.
Gold Piece (gp): Worth 10 sp or 100 cp. Used for magic items and expensive goods.
Platinum Piece (pp): Worth 10 gp, 100 sp, or 1,000 cp. Used for very expensive items or transporting large sums.
1,000 coins of any denomination = 1 Bulk.
Other Currency
Art objects, gems, and raw materials can be used like currency — you can sell them for the same Price you can buy them.
Selling Items
Most items can be sold for half their Price. Coins, gems, art objects, and raw materials can be exchanged for their full Price.
