Forced Movement
Rulebook
When an effect forces you to move (push, pull, or slide), the movement doesn’t trigger reactions that are triggered by movement (such as Reactive Strike) unless the triggering ability specifically says otherwise.
The creature doing the forcing chooses the path. If the movement would force you into a space you can’t occupy (like a wall), you stop in the last valid space.
If forced movement would move you into hazardous terrain (like a pit), you typically get a Reflex save to avoid going in.
Shove
A successful Athletics check vs. the target’s Fortitude DC pushes it 5 feet in a direction of your choice (10 feet on a critical success). You can follow the target if you wish (this isn’t forced movement for you, so it can trigger reactions).
