Invested Items

Some magic items have the invested trait. To gain their benefits, you must invest them during your daily preparations by spending 10 minutes focusing on the items.

You can invest a maximum of 10 items at a time. If you try to invest an 11th, you must first divest one of your current invested items (losing its benefits immediately).

Wearing an invested item without investing it gives no magical benefits, though non-magical properties (like armor’s AC bonus) still function.

Invested items remain invested until your next daily preparations, even if you remove them temporarily. If you die, all your items become divested.
