Summon Lesser Servitor

Rank 1CommondivineRemaster
Range30 feet
Durationsustained up to 1 minute

While deities jealously guard their most powerful servants from the summoning spells of those who aren't steeped in the faith, this spell allows you to conjure an inhabitant of the Outer Sphere with or without the deity's permission. You summon a common celestial, fiend, or monitor of level –1. You can choose to instead summon a common animal of level –1 that hails from the Outer Sphere; you can choose for this animal to gain the celestial and holy traits, the fiend and unholy traits, or the monitor trait. It's anathema to summon a servitor if it has a holy or unholy trait that isn't allowed for your deity's sanctification. For example, Sarenrae's sanctification is "can choose holy," so you couldn't summon an unholy creature, and Pharasma's is "none," so you couldn't summon a holy or unholy creature. The GM might determine that your deity restricts specific types of creatures further, making it anathema to summon them as well.

Traits

Concentrate

An action with this trait requires a degree of mental concentration and discipline.

Manipulate

You must physically manipulate an item or make gestures to use an action with this trait. Creatures without a suitable appendage can't perform actions with this trait. Manipulate actions often trigger reactions.

Summon

Spells with the summon trait can conjure creatures, typically ones with a particular trait. Such creatures can be found in Monster Core and similar books. Unless noted otherwise, the creature must be common, it gains the summoned trait, and it must appear in an unoccupied space in range large enough to contain it. The highest level of creature the spell can summon depends on the rank of the spell, as listed below. The spell can still summon a creature of a lower level if you so choose. These rules apply only to spells that have the summon trait; other spells that call or conjure items or beings but that don't have the trait, like summon instrument, work as explained in the spell.
