Candlecap

Level 112 gpWornBulk CommonRemaster

The crown of a candlecap is stitched leather sewn in the shape of a small bowl. Fixed inside the bowl is a melted nub of wax with a small black wick.

Activate (manipulate)

Effect You shake your head, and the candle wick ignites. The candlecap sheds dim light in a 20-foot radius. The candle doesn't require oxygen and can't be smothered or quenched. Activating the candlecap again douses the light.

Traits

Invested

A character can invest only 10 magical items that have the invested trait. None of the magical effects of the item apply if the character hasn't invested it, nor can it be activated, though the character still gains any normal benefits from wearing the physical item (like a hat keeping rain off their head).

Creatures and objects in dim light have the Concealed condition, unless the seeker has darkvision or low-light vision, or a precise sense other than vision."},{"c0":"Darkness","c1":"A creature or object within darkness is Hidden or undetected unless the seeker has darkvision or a precise sense other than vision. A creature without darkvision or another means of perceiving in darkness has the Blinded condition while in darkness, though it might be able to see illuminated areas beyond the darkness. If a creature can see into an illuminated area, it can observe creatures within that illuminated area normally. After being in darkness, sudden exposure to bright light might make you Dazzled for a short time, as determined by the GM."}]}

Magical

Something with the magical trait is imbued with magical energies not tied to a specific tradition of magic. Some items or effects are closely tied to a particular tradition of magic. In these cases, the item has the arcane, divine, occult, or primal trait instead of the magical trait. Any of these traits indicate that the item is magical.
