Trigger A creature flips the switches on the underside of the desk in the wrong order or a creature attempts to open one of the desk drawers without first disabling the trap


Effect A hatch opens in the ceiling, releasing a string slime onto the desk. The string slime makes a pseudopod Strike against one creature within reach before rolling initiative. The trap then rolls initiative.

Disable DC 20 thievery (trained) to disable one of the two acid-spewing nozzles or DC 21 crafting (trained) to rig a makeshift plug for one of the two nozzles

Hidden nozzles in the ceiling spray acid pumped in from a nearby reservoir to destroy the desk and all its documents, as well as anyone trying to retrieve those documents.
